Voodoo channels a raw ritualistic energy in radiant color and gestural intensity A fusion of mediums bursts across the canvas sheet acrylic and spray paint ignite the surface while pastel and graphite add a grounded tension and ephemeral marks

Flashes of pink and acidic yellow pulse with life scratched lines and ghostly shapes suggest language movement memory Each gesture feels spontaneous almost conjured rather than composed There is rhythm but no control intuition but no restraint

Framed in white this piece elevates the traditional canvas sheet into a complete presence ready to inhabit space and stir conversation It is a painting that vibrates with spiritual charge and emotional urgency a reflection of the unseen energies that animate us

Artist’s Note

Voodoo was born from impulse from letting go It’s one of the first works where I truly allowed the materials to take over I wasn’t trying to make sense I was trying to feel something

I see this painting as a trace a spell a visual chant for the body and for freedom
