Black and white forms sweep across the canvas through broad gestures, spiralling structures and graphite marks. Restricted colour concentrates attention on movement, contrast and the physical rhythm of the painted surface.

Within the layered marks, a figure-like or portrait-like presence can briefly emerge before dissolving back into abstraction. This ambiguity between recognizable form and gestural structure gives the work an unstable reading and connects it to Néron’s broader interest in forms that appear and disappear through looking.
