Somnium Naturae

Somnium Naturae (2024)
Audrey Néron
Acrylic and oil on canvas
76.2 × 101.6 × 1.91 cm (30 × 40 × 0.75 in)

One-of-a-kind original artwork. Signed, varnished, professionally wired and ready to hang. Certificate of authenticity included.

Somnium Naturae brings fragmented bodies, animal presences and vegetal forms into a densely layered pictorial field. Figures emerge and recede through shifting passages of colour and gesture, producing an unstable space in which body and landscape continually merge. The work marks an important transition toward Néron’s current exploration of perceptual ambiguity, dissolution and the tension between figuration and abstraction.
