Paradiesvögel — German for Birds of Paradise — is a lyrical, high-energy composition from Audrey Néron’s Abstract Series. Created in 2019, the work explodes with motion, gesture, and layered emotion.

At the heart of the canvas, a spiraling form in red and white evokes a core of vital force — something between a bloom and a burst. Broad, confident strokes of deep blue loop and pour across the surface, while golden and black passages weave through the center like roots or calligraphic energy. The surrounding palette — with washes of turquoise, coral, and smoky grey — serves as an atmospheric field through which movement and memory pass.

Graphite markings, almost like hidden handwriting, murmur beneath the surface, adding an ephemeral, intimate dimension to the painting. This visual "chorus" brings forward the poetic tension between expressive urgency and layered introspection.

Far from a static abstract, Paradiesvögel is an emotional topography — part flight, part ritual, part release. A vibrant testament to the freedom of the intuitive gesture and the beauty of complexity.
