Curator’s Note

Nexu Corporis — Latin for connection of the body — opens onto a mythic and tactile universe where body, memory, and ritual converge.

With impassioned brushwork and richly textured layering, Audrey Néron transforms the circular wood panel into a symbolic portal — one that echoes transformation, sensuality, and sacred becoming. Pearls, meticulously hand-embroidered into the surface, shimmer like votive offerings, suspended in swells of paint and collage that blur the line between flesh and earth, touch and terrain.

At once raw and ornate, this work continues the Garden of Delights series, exploring feminine presence, fragility, and erotic resilience through an alchemy of materials. It invites the viewer to linger, to feel — to remember.
