Nexu Animi — Latin for soul connection — is a luminous and emotionally charged composition from Audrey Néron’s Garden of Delights series. Created in 2024, this round-format piece fuses acrylic, oil, and delicately hand-embroidered pearls into a richly textured surface, where movement and intimacy coalesce.
Two human figures emerge, entwined in a moment of suspended energy — standing, reaching, merging — amid a lush, painterly ground. Crimson, blush, and verdant green tones pulse across the canvas, while the glint of pearls offers subtle flashes of light, echoing the emotional resonance beneath the surface.
This is a work of both visual and tactile invitation. Néron’s signature materiality brings sculptural presence to the canvas, allowing emotional weight and physical depth to meet. Nexu Animi invites reflection on connection — between bodies, souls, memories — and between form and formlessness.
