In Japanese-6, part of Audrey Néron's Happiness Series, the artist captures the whimsical energy of spring with vibrant, bold strokes and an explosion of colors. This mixed-media piece is alive with movement and emotion, drawing inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of Japanese candy wrappers, emojis, and the renewal that comes with the season. The hummingbird a symbol of joy and resilience flies through the canvas with surreal, exaggerated features, its colors vibrant and dynamic, echoing the lightheartedness of springtime renewal.

Néron’s application of bright colors pink, purple, yellow, and green contrasts beautifully with the textured surface of the canvas, where the layers of mixed media create depth and intrigue.
