Japanese V (2020)
Audrey Néron
Acrylic, silk paper, Japanese candy wrapper, Posca marker and graphite on canvas sheet
25.4 × 20.32 cm (10 × 8 in)
Framed in white

Painted marks, graphite, collage and graphic interruptions form a compact composition built around colour and movement. The candy-wrapper fragment functions as both image and material, shifting the surface between everyday object, pattern and abstraction.
