Japanese V unfolds as a vivid spring tableau, where fluttering forms and vibrant petals collide in a dance of lightness and renewal.

• Japanese candy wrappers saved for their joyful colors,

• emoji aesthetics found in social media stories,

• and the emotional reset of spring after winter.

Artist Note

This series was born from a need for brightness after winter Japanese candy wrappers I kept for their joyful colors, and spring stickers from Instagram stories became playful motifs in a world blooming back to life.
