Hieronymus (2021) Audrey Néron Acrylic, oil and china marker on canvas 101.6 × 76.2 × 1.91 cm (40 × 30 × 0.75 in)
Partial figures, faces and animal-like fragments surface within a dense network of brushwork and drawn marks. China marker cuts through the painted layers, sharpening certain forms while others dissolve into the surrounding field. The image shifts continuously between bodily recognition, landscape and abstraction.
