Birds of Paradise II (2020) Audrey Néron Acrylic, oil, silk paper, marker and Japanese candy wrappers on canvas 20.32 × 25.4 cm (8 × 10 in) Framed in white
Organic forms move across a compact field of pastel colour, line and collage. Japanese candy wrappers and silk paper interrupt the painted surface with shifts in pattern and texture, giving the small composition a dense, tactile rhythm.
