The Garden of Delights I (2023)

Figures, limbs, vegetal structures and broad painterly gestures accumulate across the surface until boundaries become uncertain. Dense passages alternate with more open areas, producing a field in which bodies and landscape continually exchange roles. The work’s baroque density asks the viewer to move between recognition and abstraction rather than resolve the scene.
