Description
Bellum Deorum is the final panel in Audrey Néron’s expressive triptych from the Humans Landscape series. Created in 2022, this unique altarpiece unleashes a frenetic and baroque choreography of divine combat. Swirls of crimson, ochre and slate intertwine with fragmented bodies in motion a visual cacophony inspired by classical mythology, French Romanticism, and the emotional drama of Delacroix.

Acrylic and oil collide in layered turbulence, while the china marker anchors sharp contours amidst the chaos. Néron explores the mythic battlefields where gods clash, merging ancient archetypes with a contemporary, gestural language.
