Avium Caos (2024) is a study in raw movement a monochromatic storm where lines become flight, shadows become creatures, and the boundary between figure and abstraction dissolves.

Created outdoors on Howe Island, this artwork channels the spontaneous rhythm of the natural world. Birds appear everywhere: emerging from washes of diluted acrylic, dissolving back into the haze, re-forming through sharp gestures of china marker. The surface becomes a living tapestry of instinct, motion, and multiplicity.

The absence of color amplifies the intensity of the drawing.
Every line vibrates.
Every wash breathes.
The result is a choreography of avian forms some recognizable, others fragmentary locked in a continuous dance between chaos and harmony.
