Are you lost? Or, like me, have you already been, and sometimes still are... Engulfed by life, by children, by the lawn, by errands, by family, by friends, by the broken-down car, by overtime at work, by pleasing your partner, by attending family gatherings, by more overtime, by driving the kids to their activities, by making lunches, by doing homework... Everything is important, everything is urgent, everything, everything, everything, except you. In fact, who are you now, who have you become? But I no longer recognize you, I no longer recognize myself. I am now but a shadow of myself, just like that old rug worn down by life, its weave beginning to show through over time, worn thin by the constant trampling, having lost all its magnificent colors that once seduced me when I bought it in the store, now turned pale and worn out. I didn't listen to myself, I didn't take care of myself, I didn't choose myself. I have become dull, I have become bitter, I have become gray.

Plastic approach;

Audrey Néron's paintings are composed of introspection, experiences and singular symbols generating questions in the viewer.
Some surfaces are made of impastos of abstract gestures and often censored automatic writing. Figures of speech in writing such as allegory, aphorism, metonymy and pun, take up more and more space in his work.

The juxtaposition of writing, sketches engraved on the paint, areas left intact reveal the raw potential of the sub-layers and underlying words.

The ambitious and ambiguous displays and the wide range of techniques that Nero puts to the task give rise to a dazzling emotional charge that leaves us speechless.
